115 ounce can white beans (great northern/cannellini), drained and rinsed
3tablespoonsolive oil
2tablespoonsred wine vinegar or champagne vinegar
1meyer lemonjuiced
ΒΌcupchopped fresh basil
2teaspoonshoney
2garlic clovesminced
1/4teaspoondried oregano
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/4teaspoonpepper
1/4teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
1/4cupchopped sundried tomato
Instructions
Place the beans in a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
When you are ready to serve, brush a liberal amount of the marinade onto a few slices of Little Northern Bakehouse Whole Grain Wide Slice toast in the oven or in a skillet.
Top toast with marinated beans and garnish with fresh sliced basil, enjoy!
