Who Can Sign Up / Join? Everyone! Men and women are welcome to join our Nutrition Plan and Community. Members must be 18 years or older. Our content is provided in English.
What Does the Membership Include? The Healthy Grocery Girl Nutrition Plan Membership include login access to our Member’s only website where you can view, download and optionally print content. To begin you’ll select the “Become A Member Now” button above, then create a username and password and then complete payment. After setting up your membership, you can login to immediately have access to all Nutrition Plan content, videos, as well as our private member’s conversation corner.
Can I Refuned the Nutrition Plan? We do not offer refunds for Nutrition Plan Membership because it is provided in a downloadable and digital format. Our refund policy is consistent with the industry standard for most audio books and digital retailers. Our no-refund policy is in the best interest of our community members to protect their privacy, as well as protect the integrity of our brand and content. We provide a thorough explanation of our Nutrition Plan and Online Community on this page regarding what our plan includes and FAQs. Please read through everything carefully before making a purchase because we do not offer refunds. Can I Cancel My Membership Anytime? Yes, you can cancel your membership at anytime. Once you cancel you will no longer have access to the Nutrition Plan Membership site.
Can I Join the Community Without Purchasing the Nutrition Plan. No. The community is for Nutrition Plan members only. The only way to have access to the community is through signing up for the Healthy Grocery Girl Nutrition Plan. We have put a great amount of thought and care into our content and community and structured everything in your best interest so that you have success with healthy eating, cooking and shopping. Therefore, it is vital to have access to both the Nutrition Plan and the Community, not one or the other.
What if I do not live in the United States? Will this plan still be relevant to me? Yes! With over 250 pages of nutrition education, 70 + recipes and many how-to guides you will be able to enjoy and apply the content of our program to your life no matter where you live. The only element of the Nutrition Plan that may not be 100% relevant to individuals who live outside the USA is our brand suggested grocery shopping list. However, our grocery shopping list can still serve as a guide for what types of food to shop for.
Why Plant-Based? Eating plant-based has been scientifically proven to help reduce inflammation in the body and prevent diet-related diseases. Eating a plant-based diet can improve energy levels, help with weight loss and weight management, support natural cleansing and detoxification, and improve our overall health.
What Is Plant-Based? Eating plant-based is eating foods that come from plants such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, grains, herbs and spices. For example you can have a black bean burger on a whole-wheat or gluten-free bun with sweet potato fries, yum! Our nutrition plan provides over 70 easy recipes to help make eating plant-based be a realistic and delicious lifestyle.
Do I Have to Eat Vegan If I Join? No, our Nutrition Plan is a transitional program and provides both vegan and non-vegan recipes. Our Nutrition Plan does however provide education, research studies and recipes that supports a plant-based lifestyle.
Will This Plan Help me Lose Weight? The Healthy Grocery Girl Nutrition Plan is not designed to be a weight loss program or a get-thin-quick system. Our nutrition plan does however provide guidance on how to eat real, whole-foods as well as how to integrate the healthiest of convenience foods. As an individual transitioning into healthier eating an added benefit of eating healthier is often weight loss and / or the ability to better manage a healthy weight. However, the focus of our nutrition plan is to be healthy, not purely weight loss.
What If I Have Food Allergies? Will This Plan Work For Me? Yes! Our Nutrition Plan is VERY appropriate for those with food allergens. The majority of our recipes are vegan, dairy-free, soy-free and gluten-free. Our Nutrition Plan is also a COMMUNITY! Members and myself are here to to encourage, chat and help. Is This Plan Suitable for Athletes? Our nutrition plan is not a sports nutrition guide. However, we do provide a chapter on nutrition for fitness. Overall, eating real, whole-foods that are also plant-based will support quicker recovery time, reduce inflammation in the body and support long term health. You can also consume all the protein you need by eating a plant-based diet.
Can my Family Follow this Plan with Me (Kids, Spouse)? Yes! Our guide if filled with nutrition education, healthy recipes, and information on how to shop, cook and eat healthy. Children and adults can both benefit from eating real, whole-foods and eliminating their intake of artificial ingredients.
What if my kids or spouse is a picky eater? Will they be able to enjoy the recipes in the Nutrition Plan. We encourage picky eaters to join our program! Sometimes an aversion to a certain type of food can simply be because the dish was prepared in an unappealing way or our taste buds are not developed to appreciate the natural flavors of real food. Both of these scenarios can be turned around!! For example, I use to not care for brussels sprouts because they were always prepared steamed, making them slimy and unappealing. Once I learned that there are many ways to prepare brussels sprouts, such as baking them (which is delicious!), this changed my entire perception and appreciation towards brussels. I encourage you to join our program and try out the various recipes. Regarding our taste buds, a diet that contains processed and artificial ingredients can manipulate our taste buds making it difficult to enjoy the sweetness and flavors of real food, such as fruits and veggies. The more we transition into a healthy and real food dietary lifestyle, the more we truly will love our veggies! We are a community so if you ever come across a recipe that you would like alternative options for, please email us and we will assist you. Lastly, even if you choose to not make a single recipe from our program you will still benefit from the 250 pages of nutrition education, how-to guides, nutrition charts, grocery shopping list, videos and community.
Is this plan safe for someone pregnant or breast-feeding? If you are pregnant or breast-feeding it is best to consult about your dietary habits with your primary care physician. However, being that our nutrition plan is not a diet program, rather a guide for healthy eating, you can safely enjoy the content and recipes of our Nutrition Plan and community while pregnant or breastfeeding.
My Schedule is Really Busy, Will This Plan Work for Someone Who Doesn’t Like To Cook or Doesn’t Have Time To? This question is one area of nutrition I love! I personally am a busy gal, running a business does not leave me much free time, so all of my recipes must be quick and realistic. If you are busy too then you will love the simple, quick and delicious recipes that are included in the Nutrition Plan. While some recipe do require a little time in the kitchen, most recipes in our Nutrition Plan you can throw together in 5-10 minutes. Even if you decide to not make any recipes, the nutrition education on how to shop for healthier convenience foods will be a great benefit to you for your busy on-the go lifestyle.
Will My Grocery Shopping Bill Become Expensive? Eating Plant-Based is the most affordable way to eat healthy. Animal based foods, especially when organic, such as yogurt, cheese and meat, are some of the most expensive items in the grocery store. As you transition into healthier plant-based eating your grocery bill when become more affordable. There is always a bit of an initial monetary investment as you swap out previous staples for healthier ones such as better cooking oils and condiments. However, eating plant-based is the best way to eat healthy and affordable.
Will I Be Hungry on the Nutrition Plan? If you are hungry, EAT! Our Nutrition Plan is not calorie controlled. Our Nutrition Plan focuses on eating real, whole-foods, not deprivation or dieting. So the only way you will be hungry on this plan is if you don’t eat.
