Healthy Hot Toddy Recipe
I’m keeping the warm and fuzzy feelings of Christmas alive with this cozy Hot Toddy! A traditional hot toddy is a mixture of a spirit (whiskey, rum or brandy), boiling water, honey, cinnamon and sometimes sugar. For a healthier version today we’re swapping the alcohol for tea! This beverage is so comforting and is packed with vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C thanks to the addition of fresh lemon juice! Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant that can support a healthy immune system. With the winter months also being the cold and flu season, it’s a great idea to consume more immune boosting foods and beverages!
