Turmeric Tea Latte Recipe
Hi Friends! Welcome back to the blog! In today’s new video I’m sharing some of my favorite plant-based foods and also recipe videos we’ve created to give you ideas for how to enjoy these foods! Turmeric Tea LattePrint Recipe
- 1 tea bag of Traditional Medicinals Turmeric with Meadowsweet with Ginger
- ½ tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup steamed unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon of raw local honey
- 2 – 3 cloves
- In a tea or coffee cup pour 8-ounces of freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag. Cover and let steep for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Squeeze the tea bag to ensure maximum goodness is in your cup! Then add lemon juice, steamed almond milk, cloves & honey.

LEMONS: Lemons have cleaning & detoxifying properties. They also contain anti-oxidant and immune boosting vitamin C! I love adding fresh lemon juice to a morning smoothie, a cup of tea or just enjoying hot lemon water throughout the day!

LEGUMES Legumes also known as beans or pulses are a great staple in a plant-based diet. Beans are packed with protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. In fact, 1 cup of lentil has 19 grams of protein!! We have a lot of recipe videos that incorporate beans; here are a few to check out!

NUTS & SEEDS: Nuts & seeds are great because they are versatile; they contain protein, fiber & healthy fats. Nut butters are also great on toast or added to a smoothie. Chia seeds, hemp seeds & flax seeds contains omega 3s which have been known to support brain & heart health! Sunflower seeds are great in tacos or salads. Almonds, walnuts & pistachios are a great snack!
