Veggie Harvest – Easy, DIY Toddler Activity
I’m definitely more of an Amazon Prime mom than a DIY Pinterest mom…. however, I’ve been trying to find EASY new activities for Ella that are free and don’t require hours of assembly! I call this game “VEGGIE HARVEST”. It took me less than 60 seconds to put together. It’s a baking sheet with soft plush veggie toys and colorful tape… all items we already had on hand!
This activity takes focus and fine motor skills to remove the tape and harvest the veggies! You can also tape the items directly onto a coffee table, activity table or wall if the baking sheet is frustrating for your little. It’s also a good time to practice words and colors as you focus on each item. I was surprised how much Ella LOVED this activity. We took the veggies off & put them back on at least 20 times in a row. She also likes to carry the baking sheet with all the veggies on them and is very focused to hold the baking sheet flat so no veggies fall off! It is fun to see how she makes the game her own! This activity was definitely a winner that entertained her for a while and each time I bring it out she gets excited – I love that she loves it AND it was so easy to make!
