Fall is here and I am excited to share some of our favorite easy, Fall desserts! These gluten-free, dairy-free recipes are full of Fall flavor!

Hi Friends! Jeni here, your HGG RDN ready to dive into another blog post! Nothing screams fall more than rich flavors like pumpkin, apple and cinnamon, yum! Below are 10 of our favorite HGG Fall Desserts that are perfect for all your upcoming parties, family gatherings and even a Friday night in to treat yourself!

Health Benefits of Fall Flavors:

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a type of squash that is packed with nutrients. Pumpkins contains a high amount of vitamin A, which is important for promoting skin and eye health. Vitamin A along with vitamin C can help strengthen your immune system to ward off sickness. Pumpkin is delicious added into soups or pureed into your favorite desserts! Don’t forget to save and clean your pumpkin seeds and roast them with some sea salt for a yummy snack packed with potassium and plant-based protein!

Apple

Apples are extremely rich in antioxidants and fiber! The type of fiber found in apples aids in digestion because it is a prebiotic fiber which means that it feeds the good bacteria in your gut! Apples are such a versatile fall fruit and can be enjoyed dipped in nut butter, pureed into homemade applesauce and baked into delicious pies!

Cinnamon

Cinnamon contains a compound called Cinnamaldehyde, which works against harmful blood platelet clotting, which can result in inadequate blood flow. It may help lower blood sugar levels and delay the emptying of your stomach. Add cinnamon to your morning smoothies, on top sliced apples, coffee and ice cream!

1. PUMPKIN ORANGE DONUTS

Donuts are a must for fall and these are not only gluten-free and dairy-free, but have an incredible pumpkin flavor and perfect hint of citrus!

2. GINGERSNAP PUMPKIN BANANA PIE

This creamy, cold pie is made with bananas, for a dairy-free ice-cream like consistency. The crunchy gingersnap crust balances out the creaminess of the pie and feel like Fall!

3. GLUTEN-FREE FIG PEAR TART

This recipe is just like eating a giant fig newton! Figs contain a variety of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that can fight free radicals and may help prevent certain diseases.

These apple pies are so cute! Each pie contains an entire mini apple, we used Rocket Apples, so look for those in the grocery store! Of course, pie is always more delicious with a scoop of vanilla coconut ice cream!
